Israel may very well attack Iran’s nuclear facilities if the hardliner Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is re-elected tomorrow.
Israel thinks that if elected, Ahmadinejad will continue to develop nuclear weapons. And, Israel can’t afford to wait for international efforts to bring Iran’s enrichment to an end.
Detailed military plans to bomb Iran’s nuclear infrastructure have long been on the table in Tel Aviv.
Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported that Dennis Blair, the newly-appointed head of US intelligence, said Tel Aviv will eventually declare war on Tehran as a last-ditch effort to curb Iran’s enrichment capabilities.
And, former Israeli UN ambassador Dan Gillerman revealed that Tel Aviv is preparing a military offensive against the country.
War could be avoided if the Persian people elect the moderate political leader Mir Hossein Mousavi in tomorrow’s election.
Moderate ex-premier Mir Hossein Mousavi has emerged as Ahmadinejad’s main rival. Mousavi believes Iran’s policy regarding its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes. And, he has stressed that Tehran is ready for talks on the country’s nuclear program. Plus, Mousavi seems open to beginning a dialogue with America.
Also, Mousavi has vowed to reduce heavy inflation through monetary policies, and has stressed the need for boosting the private sector.
A vote for Mousavi is a vote for peace.
The Iranians will make a statement tomorrow: Do they want war or do they want peace.
Expect a record number of voters to cast their ballots in the Iranian presidential election being held on June 12. If a clear winner does not emerge on June 12, the election will go to a second-round runoff on June 19.
If the Iranians re-elect Ahmadinejad be prepared. Israel could hit them hard.
Then, Iran will unleash Hezbollah on Israel. Israel could be attacked by a Hezbollah’s massive number of rockets and missiles from Lebanon.
The whole situation could escalate onto a huge regional war bringing in other Arab countries and even the U.S.
War with Iran could easily spin out of control and if Israel really feels that their existence is in jeopardy–they may even use their nuclear weapons.
If that happens, Iran will be destroyed and gold will be over $5,000 per ounce!

Mr. Peroulakis: “Tomorrow’s Iranian Election Could Lead to Nuclear War” and “Nuke Iran” are irresponsible statements, especially coming from a Greek, seeing as how Greeks and Persians are almost next of kin.
It’s a cheap ploy being used by Israel to deflect attention from the issue of recognizing a Palestinian state and demolishing its illegal housing settlements in Gaza. If they get embroiled in a war with Iran then tell me, who’s going to pay any attention to the Palestinian issue? It’s the same Israeli Mossad that ill-advised Bush on the presence of WMDs and lured him into attacking Iraq. Bush was, is and will always be a fool. We do not have to follow in his fingerprints.

In response to those comments I have the following to say: No man, groups of men or entire natiions have the right to *initiate* the use of physical force against another. If they do so, then the force that can be used against them in *retaliation* can be of any magnitude - which means, Iran will ensure that it is not destroyed at the hands of Israel. And the unfortunate result of this will mean that gold will, after all, not come anywhere close to $5000. As a sane individual I fail to see the connection between Ahmedinejad’s re-election and Israel’s gingoistic pre-emptive strike, unless you mean Ahmedinejad plans to celebrate his re-election by setting off a different set of fireworks.
I’m a Jew and I really think Ahmadinejad is building an A-bomb. He also said the Holocaust never happened. My father was killed in the holocaust. Is that proof? If Ahmadinejad is elected Israel will most likely attack Iran! We can’t afford a second holocaust. Hopefully the moderate Mousavi will get elected and we can avoid a war. I’m buying gold just in case.

And btw/ the first holocaust was not the result of “nuclear warfare”. But it seems that you believe that the type of holocaust is irrelvant and if Israel nukes Iran it’s not a holocaust, but if Iran nukes Israel, then it is! You guys don’t seem to have learned anything from the first holocaust.
Did you read the article? The author said:
“if Israel really feels that their existence is in jeopardy–they may even use their nuclear weapons.”
He didn’t say we would just Nuke Iran.
Israel will only use Nukes if Iran uses its proxy army Hezbollah to attack us.
Nukes will only be used if all other solutions fail.
War can still be avoided!
One thing we know for sure is that our socialist leader (a closet muslim) Barack Hussein Obama will not lift a finger to stop Iran from dropping a nuclear bomb on Tel Aviv. God has declared that the land known as Israel is the rightful homeland of the jewish people. They have a right to defend themselves against the Iranians, and if that means a preemptive nuclear strike against Tehran, then so be it.
I just got back from my 3rd tour in Iraq with the U.S. Marines.
Iranian operatives are all over Iraq killing our troops.
Iran has already started the war. We need to take them out before they get the bomb. I promise you they will hit Israel and New York as soon as they get a nuclear weapon. The people in charge in Iran are nuts. I pray they can change their views toward the west with this election.
