Wynn Resorts Ltd. (WYNN) owns high end casino resorts in Las Vegas and Macau. Macau is one of China’s special administrative regions. The Wynn Las Vegas sits on 215 acres of land on the Vegas strip and has 2,716 hotel rooms and suites. This property has a large casino and plenty of retail and meeting space. The U.S. market has climbed 50% from its March bottom. But that’s small potatoes compared to China. The Shanghai Composite Index was recently up 103% since its November low.

De-coupling lives again, but I wouldn’t bet the farm on it.
Remember when it made the rounds over a year ago?
The idea was, even if the U.S. economy caught pneumonia, the rest of the world would at worst get a bad cough.
It was argued that Europe and China were much less reliant on the U.S. economy than ever before. And China, with its massive import needs, would also keep economies from Brazil to Australia humming.
